Dr. Sanny F. Fernandez is a distinguished Associate Professor at the Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology (ISUFST) Main Campus in Tiwi, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo, Philippines. With a rich academic foundation, he earned his Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in Mathematics from Central Philippine University (CPU), his Master of Arts in Education with a specialization in Secondary Mathematics, and his Doctor of Philosophy in Education with a focus on Educational Management from West Visayas State University (WVSU).

Dr. Fernandez boasts an impressive 27-year career in education, spanning private institutions to a state university, and teaching across elementary, secondary, tertiary, and graduate levels. At ISUFST, he imparts his expertise in mathematics, general and professional education subjects to undergraduate students in the College of Education and serves as a professor in educational management, research, and statistics at the School of Graduate Studies.

His leadership roles have been numerous, having served as Publication Adviser, Director of Student Affairs, Director for Advancement and Linkages, Dean of the College of Education, and Program Chair for Educational Management at both master’s and doctoral levels. Dr. Fernandez has made significant contributions to research, with numerous papers presented and published locally and internationally, earning him the Best Presenter Award. As an editor and peer-reviewer for several internationally indexed journals, his commitment to scholarly excellence is evident.

Driven by a passion for teaching and a commitment to lifelong learning, he has authored several books, culminating in receiving the Most Outstanding Book Author Award from the ETCOR Educational Research Center Inc. His career reflects a deep dedication to advancing education and supporting the academic community.

Dr. Edmer D. Bernardo is a distinguished Professor of English at the College of Education, Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology, Tiwi Site. With an impressive academic background, he holds both a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Instructional Leadership, specializing in English. Dr. Bernardo’s extensive career is marked by leadership roles in various facets of academia, including his current position as the University Director for Planning and Development.

His contributions to ISUFST extend beyond the classroom. He has served as Faculty Adviser for The Sea Treasure student publication, Chief Editor for the university’s official website, and Chief Administrator of the University’s official Facebook page. His administrative expertise has also been pivotal as Assistant to the Board Secretary of the ISUFST Board of Regents and Director for the Media Affairs, Publication, and Communications Office.

In addition to his editorial prowess, Dr. Bernardo chairs the Board of Editors for the ISUFST Instructional Materials Committee, serves as Editor for the Office of the President, and oversees theses and dissertations as Editor of the School of Graduate Studies Committee.

A passionate writer and creative soul, Dr. Bernardo enjoys writing, singing, and mobile gaming.
